Lately I don’t get much time to bake and cook, but brownies aren’t a particularly hard recipe to make, and there are many variations you can make to the traditional brownie recipe. I’ve tried a few myself, such as no butter, or vegan, with fruit, with chocolate chips, … anyway I love chocolate and a mushy, chocolatty brownie will really make my day
So here’s a recipe I really like!
- 270gr of Dark Chocolate
- 125gr of Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 140gr of Flour
- 150gr of Granulated Sugar
- a pinch of Salt
- Almonds or other dried/fresh fruits
- Cinnamon to taste
So first of all melt the chocolate and stir, then add the butter in cubes to the melted chocolate until you have nicely incorporated the two ingredients. Let the chocolate cool down.
In a bowl add the eggs and beat them, slowly add the sugar to the eggs. Add your pinch of salt.
Now add in the chocolate-butter mixture and incorporate it in well. Sift in the flour and mix well.
Now is the time you can add your fruit, spice and more! I decided to make my brownies quite simple, with almonds and cinnamon. So just chop up the almonds to a size you like, and add about a tea spoon of cinnamon.
Bake for about 30/35 minutes at 180°c
